Framing is well under way. This stage of the process will require a job site walk-through with the Interior Designer, Framer, and Michael Allen Monk to come together to discuss and address changes, if any, that will be needed. For example, the kitchen opens into the Living Room and the arched walls that separate the two are discussed making sure they meet the design expectations of the Interior Designer and homeowner. This also is a critical time to discuss support beam placement and roof design to ensure an architecturally pleasing and structurally sound roof. The height of the vaulted ceilings, both interior and exterior is discussed to ensure proper ceiling height placement. This stage of building process is so exciting for the homeowners. They actually get to walk through their home, see actual walls in place, and start to see their dream taking shape!
