A “Journey Home” looks totally different since our last update! Progress has certainly been made. Cream painted Hardie Board cornices look crisp and clean against the brick and stone exteriors. The beautiful Old World Stone on the house, the Cabana, and Potting Shed is stone from a local quarry in Alabama and is carefully installed by Lagasse Construction. Isn’t it gorgeous! The stone compliments the traditional Old Mississippi Queen brick perfectly. The Cabana in the back of the home has come a long way. The vaulted ceiling consists of tongue and groove beautiful, cedar. Cedar columns with stone at the bottom will also outline this open-air space nicely. The stone doesn’t stop there; the fireplace will be stone as well, from floor to ceiling.
The front door of the home has been installed and makes a GREAT first impression! The double arched, French doors are filled with gorgeous leaded glass; you have to check out the photo in our photo section.
Progress is being made everyday, check back soon for more exciting happenings at our “Journey Home!”
